Things are starting to take shape! Rick and the crew from Morse Construction poured the foundation and have started on the walls. The footprint is starting to look small again, but Jesse assures me it is just the phase of the construction and I'll feel this way several more times during the process. So excited.

Laura and Paddy see the property
The young ones arrive from California and see the property for the first time. I think they like it!
Freya in her new 'digs'
Freya loves this site. She'll give a little whine when we turn off of Dame Road. The excavation site is fun to explore. She knows it's hers.

The layout
Norbert, Jesse and Charlie discussing the driveway, septic and grading. I'm standing in the driveway, looking toward the front door and screened porch. A cold but lovely November day.

Clearing of the invasives
September 2014. The land, for the most part, has been cleared of invasives. Autumn Olive, Japanese Knotweed and Multflora Rose Bushes ruled the landscape. Eric Doucette did our topo survey and said it was the worst property he had ever had to survey. We can attest to the fact that it was nearly impenetrable in many spots.
Where's the view?
July 25, 2014 - Less than a month until we are to close. The growth of the Invasives over the summer has been astounding. Note the survey markings. What a job they had.
